Janice is a self taught artist and has painted professionally since 1993. The majority of work is commissioned portraits- mainly pets and children although she has also

enjoyed many other types of commissioned including murals and tromp l’oeil for both private and commercial clients.

Since moving to the Wolfhouse Gallery studio, Silverdale in April 2007, she has been developing work in other styles and mediums. The local scenery and the beauty of nature all round is a great inspiration and although still undertaking portrait commissions, her more recent work is influenced by the natural world.

Her open studio means that people can come in and watch her at work. Her original paintings and prints with a collection of her handmade craft and cards to buy.

Janice does workshops throughout the year in her comfortable studio teaching up to 8 students, from beginners to the more experienced artists.
